Savills Larry Smith has announced that it has won the mandate to manage and re-let Il Gialdo Shopping Centre in Chieri, near Turin, Italy.
The news triples the number of instructions the team has in the Piemonte area (Le Isole and 8 Gallery), which is well known amongst locals and tourists alike.

Our objective in the short-term is to consolidate the strong relationship the centre has with its customers. In the longer-term this strategy will shift to building loyalty with new shoppers while employingproactive management to ensure the centre boasts the right tenant mix for the area.”
The 14,400 sq m shopping centre, which opened in 2011, is the go-to retail destination in the area thanks to its 35 shops, including Deichman, Troni and Heineken alongside an Ipercoop supermarket. Boasting a diverse range of food and beverage brands, the centre also offers several amenities to its customers, including a crèche, hair dresser, bank, beauty salon, laundrette and dentist.
Located just 2km outside the city’s central Piazza del Duomo, the urban retail destination also has a 1,200- space car park.
